Policyholders Granted Face-to-Face Access to Insurance Experts
In light of the State of Emergency declaration issued on August 29th, Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King has declared the deployment of agency personnel to establish a Hurricane Claims Village, dedicated to aiding the residents of Georgia affected by Hurricane Idalia.
The Hurricane Claims Village offers policyholders the opportunity for direct interactions with seasoned professionals in the insurance sector, equipped to assist in claim submissions and address any insurance-related queries. The village will feature representatives from the Georgia Department of Insurance alongside prominent insurance providers including State Farm, USAA, Georgia Farm Bureau, and Liberty Mutual.
Additionally, Commissioner King’s Criminal Investigations Division will be present to investigate potential fraudulent activities and educate residents on safeguarding themselves against insurance scams following the disaster. Below are the event particulars:
